David Mansfield - Roller Skating Music from Heaven's Gate
I've been obsessed by this film since reading the Steven Bach book Final Cut - my favourite book on film. Check out Jeff Bridges. There's a real hypnotic feel to this scene.
Paolo Conte - Sparring Partner
I don't think I will ever tire of this song. It's by the legendary Italian singer Paolo Conte and the film it features in, 5X2, is pretty memorable too. The woman is Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, the sister of Carla Bruni.
Elbow - Grounds For Divorce
The song in that Burn After Reading trailer is by Elbow from their new album. What a voice.
Burn After Reading Trailer
Ok Ok. It a trailer. For the new Coen Bros. And it looks good. Even Brad Pitt looks good.

The Whitest Boy Alive - Burning
Great song, great video. And yes, it's the guy from Kings of Convenience.
Sebastien Tellier - La Ritournelle
If you liked that Sebastien Tellier track earlier then this is his masterpiece.
I Will Possess Your Heart - Death Cab for Cutie
Brand new: if you find a better sinlge that's over 8 minutes long in 2008 please let me know.
Silver Lining - Rilo Kiley
My friend Big A pointed out that Rilo Kiley are like a modern day Fleetwood Mac. This is a good thing. He is a good man.
Chariot - Betty Curtis
Mrs Larry found this piece of retro-wonderfulness. She has good taste (obviously).
Crystal Castles- Crimewave
Brand new:How long will it be before BBC editors are bombarding us with Crystal Castles on their promos? A sweet for the first person to spot this happening.
The Presets - My People
Brand new: Dancing in your pants in your front room is a totally legal activity.
Depeche Mode Playing Enjoy The Silence Atop The WTC
If we are ever on a quiz show together and they ask 'What song would Larry like played at his funeral?' now you know.
The Go! Team - Huddle Formation
If you don't like the Go! Team you must have a music malfunction in your brain. This is a tribute video made by a fan for their A-levels, and it's pretty good.
Sebastien Tellier - Divine
Brand new: This is my favourite video (and possibly song) of right now. How didn't he win Eurovision?
The Human League - Being Boiled
Let's start by going back in time. This was the first single I ever bought so it seems appropriate to kick it all off with this. I used to find it very scary when I was a kid.
